The renovation of the existing Historical Toronto Landmark building was carefully designed and constructed to maximize the available space and window wells were incorporated into the front facade to introduce additional natural light. Existing stairwells were relocated and rebuilt and new vertical transportation systems were added. The interior space was fully cleared, new mechanical and electrical systems were installed, together with full life safety systems and BMS. Buttcon worked as the General Contractor for the project and devised a number of innovative construction and logistical techniques to transform this old factory into a prestigious, class A, nine storey office building. This project was completed on budget and on time.
