Description:
The Junior School addition consisted of a 2,400 square metre expansion on the north side of the building, and the Upper School addition provides a 2,000 square metre expansion to the rear of the school (facing the interior ravine). The purpose of the additions were to upgrade the existing facilities and provide additional programming for the current student population in the arts, science, and technology fields. Along with the new additions, there were interior renovations within both the Junior and Upper Schools and a renovation and expansion of the Upper School Dining/Kitchen Area. As part of the new expansion plans, Havergal plans on providing improvements to the Upper School pick up/drop off area and constructing additional parking spaces along Avenue Road. Havergal intends to achieve LEED Gold Certification for each new addition.
