The project included renovating the City’s existing single story 32,400 square foot building and building an addition of approximately 33,000 square feet to accommodate a new Belleville Police Headquarters.

One of the key features of the new building is a Community Boardroom that will be available for use by non-profit community organizations in Belleville. The new police building houses a state-of-the-art forensic evidence examination facility that incorporates positive and negative pressurized rooms.  There is also a K-9 area that allows police dogs to traverse between the interior and exterior of the building through the use of a passage way.
