Seneca College - King Campus
Buttcon won this project after successfully completing the student residence at Seneca College’s Newnham Campus in North York, Ontario.
The three-storey, 240-bed building includes a mix of residence rooms, communal facilities, seminar/meeting rooms and recreational/fitness facilities on the ground floor, with the residence suites located primarily on the second and third floors.
The design ofthe two-wing facility allows for future expansion. Like the Newnham Campus Student Residence, this 85,000sf. building provides maximum use of the facilities throughout the year, including alternate revenue producing uses in the summer months.
