Buttcon is proud to serve as Construction Manager for the new 200-bed Long Term Care facility in Pickering, Ontario. This project sits on a 10.7-acre greenfield site at the northeast corner of Mulberry Land and Alexander Knox Road. The proposed building will feature four levels above grade, housing 200 beds within Resident Home Areas (RHAs), and a basement level dedicated to back-of-house operations and receiving space. Depending on final grading, the design is anticipated to be classified as three storeys. The facility will encompass approximately 184,538 sq. ft. of non-combustible structure, delivering a modern, safe, and sustainable environment for residents. This project reflects Buttcon’s commitment to building innovative healthcare spaces that enhance quality of life and meet the growing needs of Ontario’s communities.
