Description:
The Quad Student Housing Community Phase 3 development consists of two new 8-storey student residence buildings located on the York University campus in Toronto, Ontario, on a site formerly occupied by a student and visitor parking lot.
Building C6A will provide 330 suites accommodating 469 beds, while Building C7A will provide 251 suites accommodating 361 beds. Together, the development will deliver a total of 581 suites and 830 beds to support York University's growing student population.
The residences will offer a mix of suite configurations, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and four-bedroom layouts with a variety of washroom arrangements designed to meet diverse student housing needs. In addition to residential accommodations, both buildings will feature study rooms, student lounges, common amenity spaces, bicycle storage, laundry facilities, staff support areas, and waste management rooms on each floor.
Building C6A will encompass approximately 192,514 square feet of gross floor area, while Building C7A will encompass approximately 152,042 square feet, for a combined development exceeding 344,000 square feet. Once complete, the project will provide modern, purpose-built student housing that enhances the campus experience while supporting the university's long-term growth objectives.
