This project involved the construction of a three storey above grade, partial one level construction, plus mechanical penthouse above, with an approximate gross floor area of 182,900 sf (17,000 sm). This facility has 160 parking spaces, green roof area, central kitchen, central laundry facilities and a full service shopping and receiving area. The project attained LEED Silver upon its completion. This retirement community development includes 192 beds throughout four wings with separate courtyards surrounding a central dinning wing and an additional administration and auditorium wing. Bedrooms include concrete topping for heating floors, and perimeter foundations constructed for premium embedded insulation. The three-storey, 182,900 sq. ft. facility provides the community with a variety of accommodations for seniors including seniors independent living, assisted living as well as many other complementary community services.
