This multi-phased project was successfully completed, which involved constructing a new facility at 525 Main Street North in Brampton, Ontario. This new facility now includes 177 Long Term Care (LTC) beds, an Adult Day Service (ADS) program serving 100 clients, a community hub, and underground parking. The development was executed adjacent to an operational LTC facility. After the new building was operational, the existing Peel Manor LTC will be vacated, followed by its abatement and demolition. Subsequently, the adjacent Murray Street Park underwent a phased redevelopment. The total SHWV facility area spans over 220,000 square feet, excluding the basement, underground parking, and mechanical penthouse, and it features six LTC Resident Home Areas, Support Services (such as kitchen and laundry), Adult Day Services, and a Community Hub.
