Buttcon in joint venture with EBC is overseeing the construction of a new Operations Centre and Warehouse for Hydro One Networks Inc. in Orillia, Ontario. This single project entails the development of two structures on adjacent properties.
Both the buildings will be one-story conventional steel framed structures with high-efficiency insulated metal panels and a 2-ply, hot applied, built-up roof system. They will be outfitted with high-efficiency mechanical systems, energy-efficient LED lighting, and comprehensive wireless internet coverage. The buildings will also feature a centralized Building Automation System (BAS), access control and CCTV systems, and a natural gas generator for backup power. Upon completion, these state-of-the-art facilities will fulfill Hydro One's operational demands, adhering to current industry, regulatory, safety, and operation standards.
