Jason serves as Director, Pre-Construction and Estimating for Buttcon East and Buttcon Central, providing leadership to the estimating and pre-construction teams across both regions. He is responsible for overseeing estimating operations, cost planning, procurement strategies, and pre-construction services, ensuring projects are positioned for success from concept through construction.
Jason works closely with owners, consultants, and project teams to develop accurate budgets, identify value engineering opportunities, manage project risk, and establish effective delivery strategies. He oversees the preparation of subcontractor tender packages, manages the tendering process, conducts bid evaluations, and supports the negotiation and award of subcontracts for Construction Management, Design-Build, and Lump Sum projects.
Working collaboratively across both regions, Jason partners with operations, business development, and project teams to deliver innovative, value-driven pre-construction solutions that provide cost certainty, improve constructability, and support successful project outcomes. He also contributes to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and strategic pursuits that strengthen Buttcon’s continued growth throughout Eastern and Central Canada.
