This project included the renovation of two heritage buildings on the Don Jail lands adjacent to the Bridgepoint Hospital redevelopment. The three storey, 484 square metre governor’s house was renovated and to be used as the Children’s Hospice. The two storey, 216 square metre Gatehouse building was restored and the interior renovated space is used for administrative offices. The existing building exteriors were restored in accordance with the Toronto Heritage Act.
