Carleton Technology and Training Centre
This 60,000sf design-build finance project features a sophisticated mechanical system using heat pumps connected to the University’s ground water well loop.
The heating is supplemented by perimeter radiation from the hot water/steam line. Underground access is provided to the existing pedestrian tunnel network. The concrete structure is supported on expanded-base piles.
