York University - Sherman Health Science and Research Centre

The Sherman Health Science Research Centre (HSRC) isa research facility for health science researchers in vision, health science and kinesiology.  This facility was developed within the shell of the decommissioned York Ice Arena.  This facility accomodates programs studying performance fitness testing, biomechanics and rehabilitation, psycholophysics, nutrition, and also included meeting and conference rooms, kitchen, reception, a machine shop and outdoor amenity space.  This project focused on elements of sustainable design.
